TST Trading Day 2 Back to the Drawing Board

TST Trading Day 2

Tiebreaker Scenario was the trading setup that I saw today … I was patient then I was not patient. From 9:39AM to 9:54AM CST I lost my trading discipline and went from minus 12 ticks to minus 47 ticks and within 50 cents of failing the combine against the max daily loss.

It’s shit like this that really makes me wonder WTF I am doing trading!

I had 8 trades for a total loss of minus 47 ticks and giving back all my trading gains from Day 1 of the TST Combine.

Can you say MORON? I sure can!

TST Trading Day 2

Here is what I wrote in my trading journal today word for word …

Even though, I know the market will breakout – it didn’t play fair. Why do I make trading rules, if I am going to ignore them?

I went from minus 12 ticks to minus 47 ticks in a matter of minutes. What don’t I shut the FUCK down?

How many F’ing days like this do you have to have to F’ing get the fact that you can be a MORON!

Undisciplined trading from 9:39AM to 9:54AM, because I missed the TIEBREAKER TRADE SETUP ENTRY!

What can I learn from this trading day?

I was very close to catching a breakout and in the right position on 2 occasions. But if I would have caught the correct entry I should have been short from 4532 this morning!

What I also liked about today was my patience at the beginning of the trading session. I was doing all the right things that I thought about – it was a good morning until I got stupid.

I believe I got the big head literally and physcially. Was the temporary pleasure worth the losing trading day?

I would say it was a waste of a pleasurable experience that could have been patiently waited on for a later time period during the trading day. I have to be more diligent in my physical nature.

DO not give into temptation when I am actively trading. Block out the physical nature (being) that seems to come through. It makes me feel invincible and this is not a good thing to be when you are trading!

Sure, it’s fine to walk away, but not fine to do what I did for a couple of minutes of seconds of pleasure! If you read between the lines, I am sure you can figure this one out.

Good Trading,
