Yes, I am a geek … I have to find something to keep me from doing dumb things in my day trading in the crude oil futures market …
So what do you do?
I find a lot of my time is sitting and watching paint dry as a day trader. This is good … because … when You are not trading … you are not losing money.
There should only be a small amount of time … the way I look at day trading … that you should be day trading.
Here is a chart setup that I saw today as I am sitting just chillin’ on a Friday day trading crude oil futures …
This trade depending upon when you would have exited would have earned either a 1P or 2P profit.
How much PROFIT should a trade earn? This is a variable question and one that can’t be easily answered with one word …
Basically, it all boils down to how you approach your day trading plan …
In other words, what are you willing to risk to make the money?
