September 10th, 2012: Crude Oil Trading

Hello Traders,

Today I am reminded how sometimes the best trade is no trade at all …

As I was reading the latest work from Zig Ziglar, I came across this passage:

“But there is an old saying that goes, ‘It is better to have tried and failed than not to have tried at all.’ I would alter that concept slightly and say, it is better to set goals and have direction than to not have goals and wander around in confusion.  Ultimately, people who do not set goals are just making up their life as they go along, which results in unreached potential.” – Zig Ziglar

I find myself guilty of this charge myself!  To be a person that has great aspirations and no goals in life just wandering around as a general random person living in the present.

My belief as a trader is to live in the present, but I am certain I should also have goals to strive towards.
