When you see this on YOUR trading charts and you are LONG … then it is time to TIGHTEN up your profit stop. This could be stopping volume going on the long side.

Futures Crude Oil Day Trading Charts: CLPIT Strategy Trade Exit ON Long Today

Here is my trade exit on the long signal today in the crude oil futures market. I was long from 4901.

Overall, I was pleased with my trading day. The market did sell off after the Blowoff Volume bar. I saw it and thought about trading it, but I was also very happy to walk away in the positive column and look at tomorrow’s trading day.

If I was going to have taken the short position today, then I would have exited the long closer to the 4936 trading mark today. In addition, I was also aware this was the first day of trading the July Contract in the Crude Oil Market. I was also thinking to simply take the money  and run today.

REMEMBER … YOU are always RIGHT in hindsight! Simply learn to let it go … let it go … let it go!! Or as Jim Rohn said, “That’s Fascinating!”

Good Trading,
