Plus 38 ticks on 2 trades today to end the TST 30K Combine (day 10). I will be moving onwards and upwards to FTP now.

So today marks my latest time to pass out of the Combine at TST and into FTP once again. I believe I am 3 for 4 going into FTP overall coming from the Combine. This will be my 5th time to reach FTP coming from the combine.

What I continue to say about this experience is how important the 10 trading days are when it comes to your funded account. You need (in my humble opinion) to be well enough above any max drawdown to continue to stay funded at TST.

Obviously, I think the time period should be 20 trading days and the max trailing loss should not become ZERO effectively after 10 trading days. It is way too easy to get knocked out of funded than to get into funded at TopStep Trader.

Another rule TST should relax on is the max daily loss. This should not fail a combine, ftp or funded. IT should lock you out of your account for the day, but not fail your “testing period and qualifications” at Top Step Trader.

The real only true rule that should apply is the max trailing loss and it should be the true and only determining factor, if a person passes or fails their combine, ftp and funded account at TopStepTrader.

So I once again move into FTP (funded trader preparation) at TST. My profit target has been between 500 to 750 in the past, and I expect this to remain true as well this time around.

Good Trading,
